I checked out matteosla.com and the menu definitely has some good options, but it felt a bit limited to me. I was kind of feeling pressured to pick something quickly, and there just wasn’t a ton that jumped out, especially if you’re looking for lighter options or something a little different. It’s not bad at all, and it’s probably fine if you already know what you’re in the mood for, but I do wish there was more variety.

The service wasn’t terrible, but it was definitely hit or miss. I felt like I wasn’t really being listened to at first, and I had to repeat myself a few times before anything actually got taken seriously. Eventually I felt like I needed to escalate the issue just to get a proper response, which was frustrating. It could’ve been a much better experience if they had paid closer attention from the start.

I came in for dinner, but the place just felt really loud and cramped. The tables were way too close together, the lighting was kind of weird, and I couldn’t really relax at all. It just wasn’t the vibe I was expecting

The pasta was decent, but my pizza came out dry. I mentioned it at the time and expected someone to check back in or follow up, but no one ever did. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, just kind of disappointing

This one was a miss for me. I paid more than I probably should have, and the quality just feels cheap in person. Maybe it works for some people, but I don’t really think it’s worth the money.

I had a reservation and the booking itself was easy enough, but I still ended up waiting about 25 minutes. It felt a bit frustrating, especially since I was kind of pressed for time and felt like I had to keep checking in to make sure we weren’t forgotten

I stopped in thinking they’d have a solid drink menu, but the cocktails were underwhelming. It was mostly the usual basic options, and my negroni tasted thin and watery, like it had been sitting around too long.

The wine situation wasn’t much better. There weren’t many choices by the glass, and when I asked for a suggestion, the server didn’t seem to have much to say other than pointing me toward the priciest one.

Not saying it’s a scam, but for what they’re charging, I expected a lot more. I had one drink, felt annoyed, and left. Definitely wouldn’t come back here just for cocktails or wine
